Check out how we can use the Japanese art of paper folding to create a Springtime Rabbit!
Project:Rabbits are also symbolic! Some symbolic rabbit meanings include abundance, comfort, fertility, and more! Rabbits are a perfect symbol for Spring, which is "abundant" (very full of) with new life, new beginnings, and growth after the winter season!
Origami is the art of folding 3D figures or designs without cutting the paper or using glue. It originated in Japan as early as the late 17th century! One of the most common Origami traditions is the legend of the thousand paper cranes! (It is said that anyone who folds a thousand paper cranes will be granted a wish or good luck!)
"Pastel Colors" are often used in artwork created about Springtime! A pastel is a "soft, light, or pale color." This just means the hue (color) is not very vibrant or dark! Typically, if your favorite colors are light blue and pale yellow, then you might say you prefer pastel colors!
