Project: When we write our name on our folded piece of paper, we'll want to fill our space from one side to the other! As we write our letters, we can practice doing our letters in many different ways: Tall, short, narrow, wide, capital, lowercase, etc.
Have you ever heard the word 'Symmetry' before? Symmetry is when an object looks the exact same on one side as the other, as if it reflected right over a line (think of a mirror!) This is how we will create both side of our alien!
Happy art makin’, artists!!!
MATERIALS: Paper, Scissors, Pencil, Coloring Materials (Crayons, Colored Pencil, Marker, or Paint!)

I CAN create an alien by drawing the letters of my name, and practicing different styles of letters.
I CAN cut around my name on my folded piece of paper so when I open it up, it create symmetry!
